QOTD: The Return of Steve Jobs, and His Ice Cream

I probably need to gain about 30 pounds, but I feel really good. I’m eating like crazy. A lot of ice cream.
At the start of the event today Steve Jobs received a standing ovation from the assembled crowd, and took a moment to thank everybody for their support and encourage us all to be as generous as the organ donor who saved his life. People are glad to have him back, and asked him how he’s feeling these days — another question on everybody’s mind. he said.

QOTD: Steve Jobs is Back at Work

Steve Jobs is back to work. He is at Apple a few days a week and working from home the other days, We're glad to have him back.
Apple spokesman Steve Dowling said.

There have been lots of Steve Jobs sightings at Apple last week, but it's finally official that he's back at work. Jobs's return may do little to quell the tech community's obsession with his health and future role at the hip tech company. Bloggers and tech-news writers are asking many questions about Jobs' return, including: Would Apple be fine without its famous chief executive? What does Jobs' health mean for Apple stock? And why has Jobs' health been such a drooled-over story? Whatever, as an apple fans that was a good news.

Apple捧巨奖等待第10亿次App下载

苹果又在搞噱头了...

iTunes Gift Card (价值10,000$).
1 iPod Touch
1 Time Capsule
1 MacBook Pro.

这些都会以免费的形式送给iTunes App Store的第10亿次点击下载者.偶猜到时候彻夜等待卡位的人肯定很多.苹果也早有打算,所以设置了一些小把戏来防止.但是遗憾的是,国内有兴趣的朋友可能要失望了.事实上,这次活动只对北美地区以及欧洲的个别国家开放.也许现在偶所关心的就只有...谁会是那个幸运儿?

刚才去活动官网看了下,已经接近950,000,000了.以这个速度偶估计还需要1周多的时间.不过算算iTunes App Store正式上线也才9个月而已.就已经达到10亿次下载了.确实令人佩服.

BTW,就在几分钟前偶得到了一个好消息.短信得知偶妹妹今天进了产房.也就是说,这几天偶就要做舅舅了! ^^
